6:30 – 6:40 pm - The Welcome (by Elders Helen & Terry Splockton, official welcome to the traditional territories of the Tsawwassen First Nations)
6:40 – 6:45 pm - Opening Prayer by Ruth Adams, (Elder of TFN and Hummingbird)
6:45 – 6:50 pm - The Eagle Song by Mavis Pierre (Katzee First Nation)
6:50 - 7:05 pm –Hummingbird Welcome - Purpose of Festival, Announcements, Introduction of MC’s, by Mary Fontaine, (Mistawasis Cree First Nation, Sask.)
7:05 – 7:10 pm -Tawaw Pihtikwe Welcome song by Dorothy Visser, Elder of Hummingbird and Saddle Lake Cree Nation, Alberta)
7:10 – 7:25 pm - Marcia Meyer, Musician/composer/singer, long-time Irish friend of Hummingbird, member of The Hummingbird Singers and The Grace Notes
7:25 – 7:35 pm - BREAK
7:35 – 8:05 pm –Tapaci Kisikaw Ekwa (Twilight Zone Play) Brander McDonald (playwright), Daniel Belkin (Director/Producer, exceptional Jewish friend of Hummingbird), Diane Li (Actress), Luke McAndless-Davis (Actor)
8:05 – 8:20 pm - “Make me Laugh Purple Giraffe” Improv Group, Daniel and a group of young energetic people dedicated to making people laugh
8:20 - 9:20 pm - Cheryl Bear & Family Band, Carrier First Nation, N. BC, Gospel singer/ musician/composer (special Friends in faith and culture)
9:20 – 9:30 pm – The Closing and Announcements
The MC’s are the Gifted Longhouse Caller Dean Sam (Katzee First Nation. BC); and Colin Head, Pow Wow MC and Comedian (Mistawasis Cree First Nation, Sask.)
